Stockinette Hand Warmers- Finished!

I know it’s been a while, again, since my last post here. And it seems that every time I write something up here it’s about a winter project! But truth be told, when it comes to things like hats and mittens, I prefer them to be knit and not crochet.

Anyhow, my most recent knit project was this pair of Stockinette Hand Warmers by Purl Soho. They are super-easy, great for a beginner. They work up really quickly, and you can make them any length you want to without having to do any math or pattern changing.

For my pair I used Lion Brand’s Ice Cream yarn, in the color Cookies & Cream. I had to try to match up the color pattern on each mitten, which was actually easier than I thought it would be, and I even have enough of the skein left over to make another pair (or perhaps a hat to match?)

One thing I really like about this pattern is that since it’s in stockinette stitch with no ribbing or cuff, the length rolls! If your fingers get hot or you need to use them just roll the end up. If your fingers are cold, roll them down!
