Hi! I am Amanda and this is my knitting corner, for when I don’t have Crochet On The Brain! From time to time I go through knitting phases, and would like to share my projects and designs with others. Not every crocheter knits, nor does every knitter crochet, so I decided to create this blog to keep things separate from each other.  I can’t say whether or not this blog will be very active, because like I said my time knitting comes in phases. But nevertheless, it’s a place for me talk knitting when I feel like it.

I learned to knit at the age of 5 from my dad, but over the years I hadn’t done very much with the skill. It really wasn’t until my late 20’s or early 30’s (I’m in my 40’s now) that I really got into it. Truthfully, I spend most of my time crocheting. Regardless, I consider myself to be somewhere around the “intermediate” knitting skill level. I can make socks, mittens, hats, scarves, sweaters, shawls, and the like. Eventually, I will be more proficient in knitting. Practice makes perfect, but as with anything, there’s always more to learn.

I hope you’ll come by every once in a while and check out what I have to offer!
